Moira Laidlaw

Dr. Moira Laidlaw is a lifelong teacher both at secondary schools and universities. As a professor at the Open University, she continues to support students from around the world.

The six years that Moira spent as a teacher-trainer in China for VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas), provide a deep cultural understanding which informs her writing set in the region.

With publications ranging from whimsical children’s stories to fiction and non-fiction set in both real and imagined places, Moira moves between genres with clarity and skill.
